I hate when I click a link and it opens a download.

    Or worse, the download link doesn't give you the direct link, instead it does some super secret token or cookie bullshittery without which you can't get the files, even if you pass some made up value because it has to be valid. And can't resume the download that you paused or interrupted during wi-fi network switch because that just craps out or restart it after like 1h because the shit has already expired.

    I mean, fine, I get it - that AWS, Digitalocean, Azure or whatever bandwith doesn't come unlimited ... but sometimes I just want beat people with a sock stuffed with HDDs containing that download data. Like... that's what CDNs are for for pete sake.
