Sort of off topic but why can't you un-press buttons in elevators?
Seems like a no brain feature to me

@iiii I get why they're kept simple but we manage to create jets that fly at insane speeds and have software to control them I think we should be able to make an elevator a bit more modern

Our office building has 22 floors and the Otis elevator there does allow you to undo press the buttons

I'm talking like 5-7 floors and it's already annoying me

Maybe it's something weird like people not expecting this behaviour?

How would the 14 year old shit for brains whose parents won't control him get his jollies if that were possible?

What's a bit fucked is max numbers pressable has no connection to weight limit.

@iiii @rutee07 @LotsOfCaffeine afaik at least Otis and Kone have elevator models that have unpressable buttons either by double press or long press. Not very common, though, but then again, I rarely visit quite new 7+ floor buildings, so they may be more common than I think..

How else would little kids have their fun while on an elevator, but by pressing all of them and pissing off everyone else? I'm glad someone thought of the children.
