started my rust journey a few days back after a lot of debate, so far it's been *weird* to say the least, but i'm looking forward to it.

Hmmm, out of curiousity, what is it about rust(lings) that you find weird?

@100110111 it's almost as if everything has an odd strictness and over verbosity about it, just makes me feel crowded somehow rofl. also the compilation and macros are something i will have to get used to.

@fuwn huh, I don't find Rust overly verbose. Then again, I guess that depends on what you're comparing it against. The strictness is I can see, but that's to be expected from a language designed as type and memory safe. I hope you overcome the feelings of weirdness, as Rust is a really great language imo.

Sums up Rust pretty well.

Rust is great.
Rust is annoying.
Rust is odd.
Rust is still pretty great.
