Maybe you should use paper a little more if applicable?
When i code i write (almost) all my algos on paper (i have great creativity but golfish-tier memory). If i get interrupted during the job i just continue where i left off

@bad-frog for whatever reason even paper doesn't work really well for me, but whiteboards do the trick 🙂

That's the whole idea behind "open space"... the fact that office workplaces prevent deep thinking is by design, not because of a few bad apples.
