What do you think about job posting on LinkedIn?
These days, I am tired of looking into someone posting so called 'job offer' and all the dumb people are typing interested, their email address and getting directly scammed by more professional way.

Never used it, never plan on using it. I either look for jobs on the more traditional job boards or I'll search for jobs in companies I think might be interesting to me directly. Hasn't failed me yet.

Linkedin is tinder for recruiters and instagram for companies, like any other social network it helps when you use it properly and don’t behave like a simp or junkie.

Treat it as a tool that increases your exposure to dream job or whatever you’re looking for.
I am personally strong believer in exposure. Basically the more exposure you have the more chance you will be found by someone interesting.

Interesting job like anything in life is pure luck, why don’t you want to help your luck by increasing your exposure to people who are looking for people ?

My theory of exposure is just based on probability equation and on how social network core works.

It’s like phonebook, just with more data and some pictures.

Just be prepared to deny politely 99% of messages and behave as nice person and karma will find you.

You never know, you can still find golden eggs there,

I honestly care more about my stackoverflow rep rather than the site that hires
