Working in a codebase that was seemingly designed to be complicated … 👎

Oh yeah I encountered a thing like that already.

I think the man was doing it on purpose so people could not fire him.

His project died in another new year, because he forgot all the code changes he should after year change. No documentation even for himself.

I can very well relate to it .. just 1 nerd needed to write a shit piece of code and promote ... F**k complexity .. no one will be able to fix it

I think we are speaking about different complexities here.

Let's clarify. I mean the code can be written in a not clean way, with luck of self documentation or/and testing
This is one way of complexity.

Clean code is not complex and easy to understand and read because of its nature. It will not matter if they used complex(second way of being complex) things to make it, the readable end result with low ripples if something is changed is what mattering
