Can you tell some funny/serious war stories about interviews (as interviewer or as interviewee)?

I went to an interview for my first tech job. I answered the questions and then at the end when they asked "have you got any questions for us", the CTO sat up on the window sill away from the table. I asked a question that he thought was a good one. He answered it and then the rest of the interview went like "what else could you ask us? You could ask us X. That's a good question" followed by the answer to said question.

Ive been on the other side of the table with him a few times and that's his style. He tells the candidates everything about working for us, warts and all. It's not just a sales pitch.
