Why the fuck can we have nice things? Atom was a perfect match for my work, extremely practical and the extensibility of it was amazing.

MS deciding to starve that project from resources is very shitty.

    Jeez didnt know they bought Atom too... I thought Atom was open source? Seems like Microsoft has their hands in everything these days...

    @fullstackchris Atom was backed by GitHub, once MS bought them they decided to focus efforts and resources on vscode. Atom-community is still a viable fork but it's going through a long hiatus as well.
