Curious how devRant's "Top" (weekly) feed works? How are the posts sorted? ++ count? ++ count + comments? ++ and comments each have different weightage?

The posts seem to be in a haphazard order

    My brain: "sounds like the devs were a bit drunk when they wrote that"
    The beer in my hand: "good times"

    It isn't in any specific order. I'm pretty sure it is a memcached personal feed.

    Looks like rant votes and # of comments

    If there is a tie, oldest rant comes first

    @asgs doesn't seem to be the case. I've seen 25+4 appear above 23+31 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    I believe that the posts are sorted by probability to cause the iOS app to crash. Crash probability ascending.

    It all depends on if its just a static generic algorithm or if it takes into account who you have up or downvoted also.
