Before becoming a developer I used to work in IT, and I really liked the fact that I can solve so many computer problems and the troubleshooting part.

Now I just feel very stupid when something is not working the way it's supposed to do.

Because before it was computer/user problems, now you are the problem 😅

@ivhysenbelli I come from service desk too. I guess similar to yours. We had admin access on all computers could spawn cmd with system user via pstools etc. and my team then was great too we had so much fun solving all kinds of problems.

Missed the atmosphere a lot once I moved to a dev position. But in the end I managed to learn domain to an extent, godlike feeling is still there minus fun colleagues.
