    And I can appropriately handle an error in none of them. F***ing JS lacking proper try catch blocks.

    I could code in any language I'd want (well, usually it's been really easy to just start coding on anything as I know the principles/patterns/what I want to accomplish and can google). I've used a lot of different languages.

    But. If there's an option, I've recently found myself leaning towards JS (or TypeScript if available). I think I've become lazy or old. Most likely both. You can do a lot of different stuff with JS. >.>''

    @melezorus34 I’d suggest looking into Tauri… Now that IE is dead, the built-in web views do pretty well, and Tauri produces much smaller binaries, and uses Rust as a backend, which means much safer backend code and easier licensing with cargo-about.
