Someone please tell me why I spent all night forking repositories in regards to quantum computing?… wtf am I gonna use simulated tensors for??? Also, what is all that stuff? I’m really just a brilliant fool.πŸ˜…πŸ‘οΈ‍πŸ—¨οΈπŸƒπŸ€·πŸ»‍♂️

    not sure what this is all about, but go for it, do stupid things until u do the brilliant one ;]

    @We3D data science stuff I stumbled upon and used my first pip install onπŸ˜……I’m in a webDev program…
  • 1
    @We3D do you know what tensors are?
  • 1
    yep, I know it in theory. AI enthusiast, but I'm stuck in web dev for now
  • 0
    And does anyone know how to type:(0) + 1)
    V2
    Properly on a phone keyboard? (If you see what I’m typing…)
  • 1
    @We3D wow lol did we switch places ?πŸ˜‚ I’m supposed to be learning JavaScript lol
  • 1
    @We3D what do you think our limitations are, thus far, in the field of quantum computing? Do you think it’s still far from quantum hardware?
  • 1
    @we3D I was surprised to find were already testing amplitude theories and quantum simulations… and have you heard of Bayesforge?
  • 3
    @sureAzure Start using proper tools. Always a pain to see phone screenshots. You don't even see command lines on one line.

    But talking about limitations, our limitation is just our own brain.

    I think no matter how far we go, there has to be always a human to make it. Any AI can only do as much as the devs programmed it to do.

    If one day we manage to do that, we then should know how our brain is working. But then we can just create mechanical humans.

    @Grumm if that’s all someone closer to the field than myself, has to say, i find that remarkably promising still… oddly enough.
  • 1
    @Grumm although, I was talking about quantum computing… but I’m sure tensors have to do with AI now πŸ˜…πŸ™

    @sureAzure you got me at this point. I'm still trying to understand how one can program for a QC, I mean how do you account for the extra bit and you utilize it for faster computations. If you or someone else can please explain that to me, I will be very happy to read it. As for Bayesforge 1st time hearing about it, but after a quick check I think I've seen similar services already, but maybe not in the QC field. And as for the JS, it's not that hard to learn the basics, but to know how to use it effectively in each situation is not that easy, plus finding the right 'this' and other annoying things can be a struggle sometimes =]
  • 1
    and by extra bit I mean the quantum superposition
  • 1
    @We3D to be honest, allowing my brain to calm down to stoically approach the topic and most accurately clarify our realistic hold of the situation currently…… I think we’re just introducing quantum logic in a way that expands upon set theory (which just looking at OOP languages, implements distinctively)

    @We3D I’ll post an image of a qubit
  • 1
    @we3D and they theorize using subatomic particles for quantum computing.
  • 1
    @sureAzure the “Qubit”
  • 1
    @sureAzure it would require the systems to be cold at near 0 K
  • 1
    @we3D the heat death of the universe is -3 KπŸ‘€ hotCOLDπŸ˜…
  • 1
    @sureAzure thinking about it now… that’s actually a big difference. Lol sorry to confuse.

    @sureAzure @we3D actually… i think its fully flippin here bud… I think we the peeps haven’t even noticed yetπŸ‘€

    @we3D πŸ˜‚ I subscribed to the creator of Bayesforges YouTube… are you the other subscriber?

    @sureAzure the low temps AFAIK are for better results and low fluctuations, but might be wrong, as I said far from that field, but I'm interested in all AI stuff. Started with Prolog ( which can be used to do just an expert system, but was still fun to play with ). But back then I had access to books on the topic, so I had to write my Prolog interpreter ( was I using Pascal or BASIC to write it... ) in order to play with it
  • 0
    @We3D yeah. It’s to slow subatomic particles to a manipulatable speed; hey, can you teach me 2gen BASIC?… I already started writing a side scroller with some of it, but I don’t know what I’m doing….. was it basic? I don’t know the other oneπŸ˜…
  • 0
    @sureAzure I'm referring to the old 8 bit BASIC + my memories about it are a bit rusty now, you know... haven't used it in a while, but as far as the modern versions are going the same direction as the original, I can try and help you as far as I can. the one I learned was pretty close to ASM and has nothing to do with most modern languages. You have to have a completely diff mindset to write in it

    @We3D if you have iOS get LowRes nx 😁I think it would be cool to have an open source friend over BASIC projects; i have a fun 8bit game idea.
  • 0
    @sureAzure nothing with iOS laying around. But you got me intrigued with the game project. I myself am thinking of finally starting learning C in order to do cool projects and mini games for the Flipper Zero, but have to find the time needed first
  • 1
    @We3D I want one of those… 🐬
    I’m also considering C#
  • 1
    https://lowresnx.inutilis.com/topic...

    That’s the game I was working on… it’s gotten nowhere so farπŸ˜…
  • 0
    @sureAzure nice goblin? why did you put them also as tree stems :D. I like the melody. what will be the goal of the game?
  • 0
    @We3D he’s only in some trees as part of the tree, the other trees he can blend into, and they look better than all of the other trees when he’s behind them lol, but I plan to animate a second sprite that the character can shift into and navigate higher up the y axis (thinking bird) and the objective is to evade enemy sprites via the trees and constant shifting between animations. The enemy sprites will be triggered by the player, sprite, falling directly below the enemy sprites, Y axis, or relative X axis.
  • 0
    @we3D I think I would design the enemies to speed towards the main character when triggered along the x-axis

    I honestly am nowhere close to being able to implement any of that level of object oriented programming as of right now πŸ˜‚ I only learned python a month ago and I didn’t really learn basic…
  • 1
    @we3D I manipulated snippets until I got what wanted
  • 1
    @sureAzure sounds interesting. I wanna see the progress. but be careful with the speed of the AI. I made that mistake when I did the first AI algo for a game. It was too good to play against, and no fun at all, so I then reduced its reactions and speed to be able to win a few games here and there. And the game was simple pong. but the source was for 2 players originally
  • 1
    keep going. that's how we all learned it. trough making stuff
  • 0
    @We3D 😁that’s something i hope to reach… After I sleep for about a week I wanna know if maybe you can teach me to write algorithms then πŸ˜„
  • 0
    @we3D do you know python?
  • 0
    I don't have much practice with Python, just tried Jango out of curiosity a few years back, but that is it. Not that I can't use it, I just don't know the most used functions and libs there ;)
  • 0
    @sureAzure As for the teaching. not sure how good I am with that, and also have to think when and for how long. I work after all and have gf ( you know girls, they want all of your free time for them )
  • 0
    @sureAzure you can give me your discord or whatever chat app we both use, and you can send me your questions and or code you struggle with and will respond and help with and when I can. sounds good?
