#1 life lesson learned from coding:
Don't work on projects for the government or any authority EVER!

    Is it because the projects involved for Governments suck inherently? Or is it the having to work with Government personnel that sucks?

    EDIT - Oh! You have to bribe them to use your software solutions

    Yeah lol, I did a little project for a hospital here and it suuucked. Control freaks with some weird legacy system in php possibly writen by a student

    Wait six months to get a pdf file signed by three levels of government employees for security clearance. Meanwhile your government issued laptop only has notepad on it.

    Your tax dollars at work.

    I've done work for a political party and many large companies, and typically the large companies are worse

    Whilst the bureaucracy of it sucks, some of the contracts I have gotten are quite generous in their pay.

    I don't care, I just love money ok?
