Okay, I usually don't rant about Windows.
But why the flying fuck does it automatically pick a driver for RNDIS5 for a RNDIS6 device (USB tethering on Android devices)? It's hanging many parts of the systems until I change it to the right driver (which is not shown as compatible and warned against whilst being the only one that works). Seriously, I usually never have problems with Windows, but this is the only thing that annoys the fuck out of me with it.

@marcus5914 Windows 10, 1703. Latest build, no updates available.

Still, wrong fucking drivers after letting Windows auto-detect drivers any USB tethering attempts by Android devices.

@filthyranter I am on insider with skip ahead builds. And today I used drivers and i did not slow down whole UI

@marcus5914 Oh, well, I'm not using Insider builds since they became less stable than release builds (until Anniversary Update, I often found them to be more stable than the last release)

Try to create a powershell script that removed the older driver and install new one. There should be a way to do this

@marcus5914 Meh. If it works on Arch Linux or Debian and I have to use my phone for internet access, I'll use those anyway then...
