@legionfrontier I wanna make some simple android games lol. Im mainly web dev but I'd like to make some apps for side revenue. Also, video editing for youtube ad revenue is a fair substitute answer, but I'm not into that any more

@Crazed are you even still monetized on youtube by how aggressive the system has become? even back a few years when I run a channel for some pocket change well, it was that pocket change since the cpm was bad back then but well if you think it is even worth the time go ahead mate

For me finding a job was easy:
Sacrificed 2 chickens, a goar, a small calf and a virgin and voilah! Job.

Do you only need a CPU, RAM, and motherboard or is the GPU included in what you need to upgrade too?(I assume that you're ok with your current case, and don't need to get more HDDs/SSDs at the moment)

@legionfrontier surprisingly enough I am still monetized, but not making as much. I have an anomaly case. I posted a video years ago using winXP with some basics system optimizations like disk cleanup and turning off animations and it got about 100k-150k views over the years. These days though it gets maybe $2/mo lol

@RealKC probably not GPU, since I won't be gaming much. I have a gtx 960 ssc with 2gb vram and around 1200 clock i think (not clear on that), which is fine for anything im throwing at it rn. And yeah id like to move to a 1tb ssd but I current have a 256g boot ssd with some critical apps on it and then a 2tb barracuda storage drive

@Crazed I was able to throw this together https://pcpartpicker.com/list/...

I'm not sure you could fit a 1TB SSD under this budget, although you could of course buy those parts first then save up a little later.
