Speaking about teachers that's my thought: if people around you consider you a teacher and you're not paid for being a teacher, then something's deeply wrong. With them. And their crazy minds.

Teacher is someone who imparts knowledge, its not whether you're paid or not.
If you help your friends understand something, you'll be a teacher in that scenario. You wouldn't think of your friends as crazy afterwards.
    Just my thoughts.

@byte I'm happy to do some mentoring whenever is requested. But I feel like some people want to just absorb/consume your natural skills eager to reach your level or bring the level of your way of working down so that once they've done they can burn you out and feel better again with their own self esteem. I mean, are you learning from me or my code? Fine! But don't blame me as a failure every time you spot a bug in the code and exult me like a genius when things work or I fix that bug. Are you NOT willing to learn from me or my code because you feel uncomfortable that someone else might be as clever as you or you feel I might be wrong or you don't want to depend on me? Fine!! I'm not your teacher and I'm not saying in any way that I'm better but don't get nervous whenever I express my ideas, talk because I have to and if someone is asking me a question answer on my behalf before I can even open mouth. That's obstructionism asshole. Competition doesn't work at all in a dev environment.
