It's auto.

Check the drive train. Make sure there is a drive shaft if it's rear wheel drive. The. Throw the transmission into neutral and see if it rolls.

@Michelle Hell yeah project car! Not all my projects are digital ;)
Maje/model of the car? If it starts no problem, but doesn't go, and you have an auto, it could be something like the drive shaft popping out (rear wheel drive only), or something more severe like the drive gear in the transmission breaking.
I suppose I should ask first if you mind me attempting to help diagnose from across the country
