why is that. the only reason I wanted it down was because I don't want my face linked to my devrant account.

Our society judges women more on there looks, then men are judged by it. Of course it's then more likely that they care more about this kind of stuff. Not saying that this is the reason in this case, just wanted to explain one reason behind such a 'cliche'.
