You know Steam? So I wanted to create something like Steam, but for mods for SimRacing games like F1 Challenge, rFactor, Assetto Corsa , Project Cars...

One guy asked me if I need a hand, so I was like “sure man”...

...he never answered back

    I'm interested, but it depends a lot on what it's written in and what it is trying to achieve šŸ˜‰

    @coolq Well I don’t have source code anymore (I lost it somehow), but I remember I’ve been doing client in C# with WebKit as a browser. And the server side supposed to be made with PHP

    @athlon So it was like steam as in it was really a web browser?
  • 1
    @coolq not really. The download center was in PHP, but the launcher and configuration tools were made in C#.
    It used WebKit to browse the download center

    @athlon I'm not a fan of PHP (either?). I'd suggest Flask šŸ˜‰

    @coolq Hmm... I may try it out

    @athlon Flask is in Python (I love Python), if you're into JS, try nodejs. Flask is my favourite though šŸ˜¤
