That's fine for us, but I worry for ppl who learn to type at home on one of these, than go to school, or work... @gorsamp

I never read the standard but I doubt anyone would be confused - actually until now I never noticed that some keyboards have the shifted character on the bottom and some on the top

@Japhy turn your screen upside down and check again? Pretty sure if you rotate it 180 degrees it will still be a backslash.

Yea. As far as I can tell, it was done to align the numbers above the LED s on the Razer keyboards, but the manufacturer transposed all the symbol keys as well. Then other companies copied the layout... @spacem
