Borrowing a JavaScript book from the school library and realizing that it was published years ago and is very outdated because it always refers to the compatibility with Internet Explorer. I'm not sure if I should continue because after all, it's the basics. Maybe it's worth returning already... or maybe not because I don't always have access to the internet, but a book is easily accesible with or without internet.

    Umm, it's not like IE doesn't count at all anymore. Just watch out for the book to be no older than 5 years or so. For more advanced topic, I'd grab a newer one

    I'd recommend Eloquent JavaScript. You can read it for free online and it has working code examples you can run on the browser.

    @Huuugo its published arround 1998 so its almost as old as i am 😂
