Ordered a slightly watered down version of my planned PC. Let's wait for Cyber Monday for buyer's remorse!

Either way, paid half price of the planned rig for 80% of the same performance.

See attached specs. Already have a hard drive and PSU, and for now will be reusing my GTS 250.

    Welcome to Ryzen!
We even have the same mobo, only I have a 1300X

@Gerrymandered I meant to order the 1300 I believe, but clicked order in the wrong tab 😂 but the 1300 would have put me over budget so it's better this way.

How's it all working out for you?

    So far, extremely well.
My only problem is I can’t overclock past 4.1GHz... but I guess everyone is different.

@Gerrymandered how come you need 4.1+? And anyway you can always upgrade. That's my plan if OCing (the Wraith fans they come with support OC) can't get me through what I need.

@TheCapeGreek a lot of my games are CPU heavy and I like me some good old power.
And yes, if I really need the power, I can just upgrade, which is definitely very nice.

@Gerrymandered Sounds good. I still won't be running modern games until I get a new card but this is most of the way there.

@Gerrymandered 4-4.2 is a hard limit for ryzen. You are lucky to reach 4.1, most can't get past 4ghz
