    I didn't read the article so this guess is not very well informed, but what do people expect when the fucking flashlight app wants to access your location data, photos and other Info?

    Yup. This is why I root firewall any app which does NOT need network access aaaand run a device wide ad/tracker blocker.

    @azous not everyone can understand permissions and most people don't even check them plus android permission are weird af i wrote an app that uses BLE to communicate with some devices and guess what ? i need location permission to use ble otherwise i won't be able to scan ble devices ...
