New algorithm idea. Perhaps 'rising' rants? Use ++'s over time as a metric

Our algo v2 (the newest one, and one described there) does not actually take into account rising/trending rants. That’s kind of more like v1 and the one we still use for web, which is a HN-like decaying time/score algo.

It may be something we can incorporate into v2 also though, or maybe for v3 :)

@dfox I'd actually appreciate a simple 'latest' category. The algorithm is nice and all, but it always carries the risk of creating everyone's personal echo chamber - a curated list of opinions and people she/he approves and likes.
I, personally, want to also come across topics and especially opinions I wouldn't ++, to see the bigger picture and to challenge my view of things...
