Having one of those days where I'm struggling to focus on the day job, because all I want to do is switch over to any one of my numerous personal projects.
It's easier to ignore and just slog through with work when there are plenty of people around, but if I'm working from home, or it's a day like today with half the office and most of the management out, it's proving to be rather difficult.
How do you all keep on track when you'd rather be working on your own stuff?

quit your job since evidently you don't need the money

@jestdotty I wish that were the case. Needing the job and the money is why when I've had a day like today, I end up having to stay up until silly o'clock in the morning to play catch up.

@DamoMac ok then you are motivated by money

sounds inefficient to do it later instead of when you could've done it with less setup

@jestdotty oh, horribly inefficient, but it happens sometimes.
Next time though I'll try thinking of the money and see if it helps. Thanks.
