Which is the secret rule that you've learned in your (dev) life?
My favourite one is "it works? Don't touch it."

    One of my favourites is the one you posted “Does it work? If yes, don’t touch it.” But the other one I learnt is to make a function for one purpose only, unlike before I started focusing on doing this properly I had a function doing like 10 things.... yea.
