I write a quick prompt thinking nothing of it, just trying to generate an image to illustrate the next baddie in the dungeon, but I nail it on the first try and the resulting image PHYSICALLY affects me.

What the fuck, now I cannot unsee. I didn't think this was possible. I assumed the whole "cursed photo" thing was just kids being easily disturbed, turns I was wrong. DO NOT fucking mix hyper realistic 3D rendering and cryptids, do NOT fucking do it. THe moment you get anything resembling a """face""" on the other side you've just consumed years worth of nightmare fuel.

Unsettling? Fuck you, this is beyond that. The eyes I saw on the other side of the screen made me RECOIL in fear. You think you know what NOPE means, let me tell you, I have just *FELT* what __NOPE__ stands for.

I would hope I sleep well tonight, but I don't think I will. SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT

    maybe you're just a weak-willed whimp?

    Don't read about Wendigos then. I do not believe spirits and spirit possession to be fake. So it makes the native american stories really trippy.

    @tosensei I don't know. I will defecate on your tombstone, is that strong enough?

    @jestdotty No, those faces look OK. The thing I saw was eldritch; a mouth within a mouth, eyes of a deep sea monster and deformed worm-like appendagges, name of Lovecraft's cat levels of unspeakable.

    So I learned this spell in Skyrim. The sounds it makes really make me dislike this beast. It is supposed to be a rotting deer thing. I am thinking of unlearning this spell in game. I dislike it that much.

    @jestdotty Yeah, it is part of what I dig as well, you know how my rants devolve into grotesque shit all the time. But whenever I'm seeing stuff like this my brain can actually tell the damn thing is not real -- this one monster skipped that barrier altogether.

    @Demolishun I have been startled at least once by every type of daedra, save atronachs, that I've ever summoned. Undead, though useful, can go fuck themselves altogether.

    TES talk for a minute: I always major in enchanting, mysticism, conjuration, illusion and sneak. Oblivion doesn't have enchanting as a skill, Skyrim doesn't have mysticism, and Daggerfall is another deal entirely. So without mods my favorite class is only possible in Morrowind.

    How do I do combat? I don't, I just turn invisible. If I really need to kill, I'll resort to scrolls or enchanted daggers. So second problem: Morrowind and it's accursed hit chance makes the approach inviable without training. So I have to visit the Morag Tong to remedy this, but I need gold, so next thing I know I'm breaking the economy with alchemy. It Just Works™.

    @Liebranca the funniest summons in TES to me is permanent thralls. People will collect bodies of characters and store them in their house. Then summon via permanent thrall. Saw a dude walking around with the undead Emperor following him. lol

    @Liebranca yeah, that's pretty weak-willed and petty. and hopefully impossible, since i want my ashes scattered somewhere, without any tombstone. (also: once i'm dead, i sure as hell won't care the least bit)

    @tosensei Then I will piss on your urn before they scatter them, now suck my dick and get lost.

    @Liebranca in Morrowind you can become a god by visiting the mages guild in Balmora. Get a cheap spell for modify attribute. Also get a spell when cast on target it does not create a particle cloud. Then create spell with say Intelligence to 100 for 1 second on self. Add to this spell an on target spell for 1 second. Cast this spell at the ground. The attribute will be modified by 100. It does not increase the max, but adds an amount that doesn't go away without some damage attribute spell. The fun part of Morrowind magic system is how broken it is.

    @jestdotty I want a mod for Skyrim that lets me make boots out of Argonians.

    @Demolishun Nice! I didn't know that one ;>

    It's a beautifully broken game overall, to the point I have to set rules for myself whenever I start a playthrough, like which exploits are allowed and to what degree.

    But one of my favorites, that I just can't let go of, is the infinite magicka glitch. You fortify both magicka and intelligence on self 100*1, then drain magicka on self 1*2. When the drain effect ends, you restore magicka relative to the fortify effect. This works in Oblivion too.

    So what I do, for roleplay and flavor, is add a little bit of damage on self, say shock 5-10*2 at lower levels. I call it "Channel Storm", like I'm powering my spells by absorving elemental energy or what have you. I pick the atronach sign to make it more appropiate.

    Shoot, I just love to play atronach altmer master race egotrip shadow sorcering nightblade mother fucker, whispering death uppon my foes. A knife in the daaaaarrrk!

    @jestdotty You seem determined to see the damn thing ;>

    IIRC the cursed part of my prompt went something like "(giant worm, monster: 1.23), (grotesque: 1.3)".

    But I've generated stuff with tags like that before and it always looked bland, nearly cartoony to me. I'm not sure what else I wrote to trigger the terrifying part. Should we investigate how to generate better nightmare fuel? You know, for science.

    @Liebranca can't.

    forgot my microscope.
