A lot of people have asked me to do their coding assignments for them. Ignoring the fact, that this lack of knowledge will not give good results in the next exam, i have done that a few times for my relatives.

So, being asked by externals I wont do that for free. (7-10h of workload) My question, what would you guys demand for such tasks. Is it worth the effort (students are poor)?

Tell them to change career path.

If they are poor they won't be able to pay you anyway. I generally avoid this kind of stuff now because it's too stressful. These people come to you at the last moment so you have to work crazy hours to meet their deadlines and/or they add more things, ask for revisions etc. But If you are a student yourself you can make some pocket money. Whatever you charge, don't charge too cheap or they will overload you in the future and you will hate them.

TBH, this really fucks me off. in the UK you spend over £9000 a year on tuition fees, (thanks to the fucking Tories). If you cant be arsed to do the work, save yourself £27,000 (and the rest) and go flip burgers. Fucking wankers. Don’t help them.
