Had this a few weeks ago. A customer send an email telling that her emails didn't load anymore in the web interface.

Fair enough, tested it and indeed, no emails while there were definitely emails on the server and nothing in the logs or anything.

Replied saying that I'd look into it.

Few hours later she messaged back all happy about it working again and thanking me so much for all the effort I put into getting it to work again!

My thought at that moment: "oh shit completely forgot about that ticket... Wait it's working again? Oo I didn't do anything... 😅"

Love it how some things just solve themselves haha

Thats the best story ever, I usually face the other way around where I leave all is working come back tomorrow and nothing is working :D

Had this happen yesterday, worked on the app and all data were coming without issues, started working at 7:30AM, manager had a meeting at 10am and nothing worked with him during the meeting while everything was working with me. What is even worse I finished the tasks around 11:30 am and faced no single issue while manager had nothing working :(
We both were connecting to the production server and my tasks included fetch from API so I did not modify anything on the server all my work was on the mobile apps code.

I hate those problems... Had a bug and I was looking into it for an hour. And suddenly, it's gone without doing anything. 3 days later, I'm still thinking about it from time to time, trying to reproduce it when I have an idea. 😒

I'm haunted by a bug 😭
