Me: GUI team needs help from backend team to add UIDs to a (shitty) object in (their in-house shitty) db.

Backend:
Backend can display these (shitty) objects properly, why can't GUI use the entire object as composite primary key? Backend can't just add some random UID to fix GUI display bug.
