Why is everyone running behind "algo strikes again"?

It is meant for that purpose.

We had this thousands of times now. It goes away eventually. In a month or two someone finds a really FUNNY strike and gains many ++'s. Fellow ++' s addicted see that you can gain some relatively simple using the 'algo strikes' shitrant and they do it too. More algo strikes shitrants arise and that's going on to the point where no one upvotes these shitrants anymore. Wait 2 months. Repeat.
Same shit with their funny as hell rant "recursion" / inception shitrants.

Just downvote the shit out of them

@Kimmax that's true. Totally agree with you.
Upto a limit, it's ok, but since yesterday, I am reading way too many of algoception/inception stuffs than some actual rant or even a good meme.

@github there's an update in the making that let's you choose the rant category etc.
Expected in the next weeks. That should take care of this ongoing shit ranting. I mean it'll still be there, but you don't have to see it

@Kimmax correct me if I am wrong but that will work only if everyone categorises the rants properly (I hope everyone does that)

@github right, however you could either select moderators, or have something like vote to move and punish repeated posting in unrelated categories etc etc
I don't know how it's going to be implemented, but I'm sure the devs will find a good solution for us all

Since yesterday? I feel like these algo posts have been a thing for a past two months. Even the 2nd post I saw was too much. Actually didn't even find the first one I saw funny.

I really hope people would stop posting those soon. Very soon...

@okkimus yup. As kimmax mentioned, such things come periodically. I have read them before too, but since yesterday, I encountered so many of it.
Few of them even included my own posted rant in their screenshot.
