I agree with you so let's don't argue, if you want privacy then use a security/privacy aimed operating system like Tail, Qubes or Subgraph and obviously not Windows. Anyway, if you really want to use Windows more privacely then redirect some services to the void is a nice start ;)

In the Linux world you could in theory fix it yourself or find a replacement for the component which doesn't work (this is what I've done with my dhcp client on KDE).
I see that windows is as comfortable as an LTS version of Ubuntu but arguing that it has more options or just works is bullshit sorry.
