Was watching Linux videos on YT (got bored) when a 🤬 Udemy (you know what, I’m blocking them right now) ad popped up and it was on how to learn... LINUX!!! This is a total scam!!!! 🤬🤬

It's not a scam, but it is a thick shit telling other thick shits how to do basic stuff that can be done with just a bit of intuition and/or web searches.

Also, how the fuck are you meant to 'learn' Linux?

@DucksCanCode @Lahsen2016 I can see how you can learn Linux. Try to see a bit farther than your own fucking nose. To people who are new to Linux and want to get into it such course could be quite useful. Something that explains how to use the terminal and teaches some commands, gives and overview of how Linux works under the hood and such, it could be really helpful stuff.

Just because you already know something doesn't mean the course is useless.

@Lahsen2016 yea, because that's the thing every Linux user needs to know for sure. By that logic every JS course should teach you how to build your own V8 Engine clone, it's just stupid.

@Lahsen2016 I'm aware, and like most users I couldn't care less about GNU. As mentioned elsewhere, their "marketing" is shit, and there's no way a newbie is even gonna be aware of GNU itself let alone what it consists of, when they install a distro.

It's Linux. It may be technically incorrect but that's what people know it by so that's what we should call it and not be snobby fucks by pointing the misconception out at every fucking chance we get. 🙂
