So now i have Linux installed everything is better than Windows but i want to program in c#... Should i use a VM or a Dual Boot with Windows and KDE Neon?

Xamarin monodevelop. Or vs code. Or virtual machine. Never dual boot it screws your pc.

Uhm? Had 4pcs dual booting so far, never had a problem always set them up the same way, never used grub.

@CWins The problem is it's my main language because i couldn't find an other good language..

.NET core since it's Microsoft supported (C# is their language after all). I'd advise starting to learn C/C++ if you want to use Linux though.

If the Linux gui libs are standard c/c++ you may use them with net.Core.

How about you just install fucking Windows and stop being a childish fanboy of Linux? For fuck sake just stop making ur life this hard and use the right tool for the job.

There are much nicer ways to phrase that and many others in the thread have done so. I appreciate that all the OSs have their advantages and disadvantages, but for many developers, Linux is the best choice. It just so happens that @nobes likes Linux but also only knows c#, which means he is in a bit if a predicament. It happens. What happens next is not for you to decide, but for nobes.

@RiderExMachina I don't only know c# but it's an easy language for some little tools. Now i looked at c++ and i think i'll start to learn it

@RiderExMachina sure there are nicer way of phrasing that, i opted not to. He clearly made installing Linux "everywhere" his mission, and now he just added this extra complexity to his life. Also, not many developers agree that Linux is best for them, at least not the ones i work with. This is a stereotype that we need to eradicate from the dev community. Linux is not the best, neither is Windows and definitely not MacOS.

Also, i provided a suggestion, i didn't make a decision for him.
