All me to tell a [false] story:

There was a person I've loved. Who never failed to surge me with delight, as my face burned with passion.

But alas, he had passed. But should true love end so easily?

The sky was an inky canvas, speckled with glimmering stars, near the silvery sphere. I scurried into the cemetery, and with much effort, retrieved him from his eternal prison.

Even in death, his beauty remained. I shut my basement door and hung him on a rack.

His eyes were shut. Look at me, damn it! I burned off his eyelids, but it wasn't enough.

He reeked of a stench so vile, I recoiled in disgust. His flesh was slipping off as if he were made of paper mache.

    No! No! No!

This was not supposed to happen! I sat, reflecting on a plan to preserve my lover.

Then I had a perfect idea.

I grabbed a knife and scissors, before running into the night. I'll find a few victims and use their parts to replace the deteriorating ones of my dearest lover.

We shall live a happy life.

I never write love stories, but this one wasn't that annoying.

Yes! I hate love stories, but if they ended this way, I wouldn't mind reading them. I always loved stories with a dark twist at end, which is why I love Stephen King and Edgar Allen Poe.

You have no idea how relieved I am knowing that you didn't call my creepy or weird.

In fifth grade the kids would know me as the freaky girl or the creepy freak because of my poetry and writing style. I guess people online are more open minded c:

@Michelle all of my poems are wonderful and happy and peaceful until the end, where they take a horrific turn.

    I really love it.
