sjzurek4497y@RAZERZ sometimes you need it. E.g. when trying to look at some logs in /var, must have root privileges.

nighter627y@mshokoohi the thing is that newer binutils added —no-preserve-root argument to rm to protect newbs from remove / by misstakes. So my point was the alias you created will only give you an error message nothing will be deleted as long you dont use 10 years old release of the rm command.

You're right of course, also not sure how can he change root user or system wide aliases. Still funnier to install sl (steam locomotive) use that 😄
