I hate every IDE. Cab I just use something that doesn't take minutes to open to write my code, please.

@Lasagna good choice. No bullshit, just a pure straightforward editor.

Geany is a powerful editor with lightweight IDE capabilities. Might be worth a try.

@Lasagna I started to mention nano, but I was afraid the computer/emacs ppl would bite my head off! Haha. I use it for any flat edits, and there's a great GitHub repo for better syntax highlighting! I'll dig it up if anyone wants to know. For deeper editing needs I really like Geany, it's lightweight as an IDE but a super powerful code editor!
