There aren't many good crates for games atm -
@byte Conrod is tricky to get into, I really recommend looking into the examples.
And while it has some strange limitations sometimes it's a nice simple GUI library with working examples and documentation.
Aim for this year:
Become at least semi-competent with Rust and build at least a crappy little game with it.
