I finally get the go ahead to push an update to a client site into production. Client then sends out marketing email about changes later that afternoon. The next day the client decides they are not ready to start fulfilling orders from one of the new products I added. Now I have to rush a change to remove the product links from the site.

Sometimes there could be an emergency and a quick change is warranted . But this client may be out of control.

Possibly tell them you have to follow a process to make changes and test - for their good. So there are no issues with the system due to changes.

Try your best to control the situation.

Daily thing at my job. "Hurry up and get this done." 2 days later, "We're not ready yet. Change everything back."
