lol I just realized that 5 years feels exactly right.
That’s weird because normally I‘m very bad at estimating when something happened or how long it has been since.
Also, usually I tend to be shocked by the realization how much time has passed since a specific event.
Like "I‘ve been playing my first RTS 30 years ago? 30 YEARS? WHAT?!" -
well the vaccine made me sick for 3 years where time passed faster and I'd have black outs and amnesia... living every day with a constant feeling of like you're going to die was also not terribly fun, geta kind of old. and all sorta of fucked up shit, too much to name
and every day I still try to remember who I was before it so fuck if I know. feels like it's been 6 months for the last 3 years. 1 year and 6 months I guess since the covid thing started
I also had covid in the first wave and it was fine. the censorship about the "vaccine", the forcing, was fucked up, and I hope my immune system recovers and this isn't a life-long curse (though let's be real I ignored that they forced everyone so maybe I deserve it just a bit, so they say)
also I hope anyone who made fun of the vaccine injured keeps taking these vaccines until they get more messed up than me, and I hope we publicly lynch the bastards who decided world coercion and lying was an ok thing to do -
retoor6279hFor me it's like yesterday. It impacted my life much. A lot of people where I hanged out with before covid, not after covid anymore. Also, the covid period mads me so dissapointed in people that I completely changed from someone that loves most people to thinking that most people are idiots. Also it made me aware that the stuff nazi's did to jews just can't happen again in sense of exclusion. We've learned nothing at all. Now, everyone is against immigrants after some housing statistics. It's so easy to make one group hate the other group for the media and most people are sheep. I think most people are stupid now and not able to think for themselves. Before covid I was complete the opposite about people. So yes, it changed my life / worldview and it seems like yesterday.
Opening reddit today, there's a pic about how the first covid patient felt sick 5 years ago.
The first answer was about how it couldn't be possibly be 5 years already.
The second answer was about how it feels like a thousand years ago.
What sides are you on? There is something to be said about your relationship to temporality.
Are you bored or overwhelmed?
