Nothing is ever more depressing than finally being able to install your preferred game engine using Wine only to be held back by being unable to install .NET 3.5 on Wine 3.0 :'-(

@oo92 custom theme for the 17.10 gnome desktop.

Using the suru icon pack with United gnome, it's a really great combination!

@coolq I know but it's just a personal goal to get it running under wine haha

Ikr!! Tell me if you get it working!

If you get stuck, try Godot :]

@coolq well litteraly everything works, I just can't install .net 3.5, it would boot up and work if I could!

And I've tried Godot, I don't like the language, seems like it's trying to be C++ and python at the same time

Hmm, .net 3.5... tell me how it goes :)

About Godot, fair enough, I like both of those languages, so it blends in well for me.

@coolq haha, if I can find some decent tutorials I might give it another go!

Spent last 15 mins in work trying to get wine to run an exe on Mac - running wine v3 . Works for other on v2. Thinking I gotta downgrade :(

I heard of winetricks today - not used yet. Gonna try tomorrow. Maybe that will help you?

@CogInTheWheel nah it doesn't, you need to install it from the control panel which wine doesn't have

I've been trying to get office 365 or 2016 running under Wine 3.0, so far no luck.
