Okay question, I know it doesn’t matter for personal use but I’m not sure what the general consensus is in a team setting.

If I’m using a css framework in a project, and I customize it to match my style guide, does that require documentation usually?

Mainly speaking on changing the colors here for the most part I’m not going Rambo on the original files.

I’m asking in case I catch some freelance gigs; I don’t want to be clueless if there’s a few others on the project as I’ve only done solo work.

Documentation for design is quite minimal in my experience. Usually includes colour codes, brand objective, rules for placing objects at specific spaces, etc. And this just a general guideline for further brand enhancement everywhere. Useful when working with Marketers and Product Designers
