Am working on a chat module for android using firebase realtime database
Everything is working fine but am really confused how to select that this message should be sent to a specific user not to every single logged in user
Can someone help me with this?

    2 things: roles/permissions and specific listeners.

    Make sure that your logged in users are listening to specific node of the database, not all of it.

    Not the solution

    There is YouTube channel called TVAC ,and he tried doing chat application using firebase. I think he would have implemented it.

    Iam commenting this because, he has good content on firebase.
    It may also be helpful to u in future
