An indie music discovery tool by artist presence on specific YouTube channels (Amoeba, KEXP, NPR)

Description

Using the YouTube API to go through hand picked music channels to see which artitsts have been featured on them. The more presence across these channels that an artist has the more potential the band has to be good. Eventually I want to visualize this data and make it more customizable.

I also think web scraping would add a lot to this project. Imagine accessing information from indie music blogs or even podcasts like Sound Opinions.
