    Can everyone stop with this bullshit. It makes perfect sense. You can add to a string but you can't subtract from one. Therefore it assumes that you want to add the string since you have it a string to add.

    meh. i use typescript anyway. those are edge cases. why would you want to substract a number from a string anyway?
