I just got dropped from a project for taking 2 days leave. The client was like 'the rest of the team worked fine without him for 2 days, we don't need him!' :(

I don't know how to react to this. It is so out of the blue! :(

2 weeks later:
Client: "why the hell is progress so slow?"

While this is sad, I have to admit I've worked with people before who have been totally useless, people who I would've liked removed from a project who took two steps back when we went forward one...

I guess it comes down to, we're you a benefit to the team?.. if you genuinely were then it's a shame, if not, you know how to improve next time.
