    @HAlex The biggest difference is the switch to Gnome as desktop environment.

    Um, the biggest difference is a switch to software that's already available in previous versions? Anything else?

    @DLMousey Something similar happened to me once. Whenever I upgraded Ubuntu back then it would replace the graphics driver with an incompatible one.

    Ugh...Ubuntu, it's everywhere!

    Great for GNU/Linux, but remember there are other distros out there!

    @HAlex 17.10 has newer software, driverless printing, the GNOME desktop, and no swap partition by default.

    I liked 17.08 more. It just had a better feel to it.
