Who the fuck thought methods as string options was a good idea?

I feel you. I find most web frameworks (asp MVC & Razor) in particular to be a complete fudge of magic strings and nonsense.

It feels like it is, it’s been built on concept after concept and it’s a hot mess of new and old.
