That moment when you've been trying to fix a bug for hours then suddenly realize you've fixed it hours ago but just didn't clear the cache

    CacheKiller Chrome extension. Set it to run on startup. Clears the cache everytime a page loads.

    There's a website that you can use to tell you whether cache caused the problem of not. Hint: it is a static page that always says yes. Wish i could remember the url.

    I generally leave the inspector open on sites I'm developing. Chrome and Firefox both have checkboxes (in the inspector settings) to automatically disable the cache whenever the inspector is open.
