Sure, you hate Win10 forced updates. But have you tried a fresh install of Arch.

    I can't understand the appeal of vanilla Arch. Computers are meant to help us automate problems, why would people want to deal with issues that aren't really necessary? Unless you're working with obscure hardware; like trying to install on an ACTUAL toaster. I can't see why you couldn't heavily modify an existing OS instead.

    I've installed Arch once in a server ... I'm scared to repeat the process

    @JohnScott well you don't modify anything with Arch. You don't even modify the kernel. But when you know the software you want to use, it's quicker to install it that way. And there is no overhead. It's as simple as that.

    Been planning on installing Arch for more than a year now. I'll probably make a rant, once I'm brave enough to actually do it.
